Anna Lundbak and Nina Cheesman are both volunteers at Kono Development and in the fall of 2010 they stayed in Koidu, Sierra Leone for about 6 weeks. Read about their activities here. Among all the formal meetings and workshops they also took the time to produce three short films about three of the people we are working with in Sierra Leone.
Watch the video about Sarah, who is a current student at our partner’s school, K-Tech. The second video is about Mariatu who is a tailor and works for Kono Business. The last video is about Mani Joe, who is a project coordinator working for AVA and also teaches carpentary at K-tech.
This project was supported with a grant of 25.000 DKK. (about 4,500 us dollars) by “Projektrådgivningens Oplysningspulje”, and the videos are a part of the Danish campaign “Verdens bedste nyheder” (The Best News in the World.)
