The production is running in Sierra Leone, and Anne has taught the tailors how to knit, because it is a theme in the current collection.

The production room is not big enough, so a couple of the tailors have to work outside. We have moved the cutting table out of the room, and Haja is cutting fabric for the scarves.

Anne is studying at the Danish Design School in Kolding and this semester she is interning for Kono Business. She is in charge of the production, and instructs the women in different techniques and checks that the quality is high enough. The man on the picture is Kai. He is also a tailor and teaches new tailor students at our partner’s school in Koidu. He participates in the math education as well.

Fanta & Alice learn how to knit, they help each other to secure a good result.
